That is an excellent photo. Her smirk, his smarminess mid speech, the mid air milkshake a microsecond from plastering his face and the calm normalcy in everything else around.
I also didn’t know about it and am glad of this thread for explanation. I’d like to coin the term Trump Fatigue. Seems like its been a decade of constantly awful stuff, so it’s easy to miss some events.
Cheapen politics? That milkshake was worth more to the country than Farage has ever been. Personally, I would be fine with him getting pelted with any kind of food item every single time he is in public.
The country is run by an Eton boy’s club and their corrupt banker mates, only looking to make money for themselves. We need more direct action like this on thise responsible.
Wow, even when someone makes a political statement against a certified cunt, the focus is on attempting to shame them on the grounds of morality. I didn’t expect anything else from the Daily Mail.
No, the stepping stone drug that is a milkshake was probably the start point though. Then protesters craved harder and harder objects to throw at politicians and it ended, as we could all have predicted, by those two poor politicians being crushed under a gargantuan boulder.
Firstly, it’s not a particularly violent act. Pouring a small cup of dessert on someone should not be considered a violent assault. It’s less offensive by a large degree than spitting on someone.
I get where you’re coming from with it seeming like a desperate act of frustration, but that action in itself is saying something. If every politician started getting milkshaked regularly it wouldn’t be the case that the public suddenly believes the politicians are all correct, it would be a message that something is deeply wrong.
On Farage in particular though, where is the forum to get a point across in any other way? Farage has never been elected to a local position, only ever as as MEP trying to sever ties with the same parliament he was elected to. He has his own right wing propaganda TV station. How are you supposed to reach his audience? He has no accountability whatsoever. Milkshake
I’m conflicted. Most of the current skins are kinda mil-sim, or at least a bit dystopia future. It’s arcadey, but still kind of gritty. Throwing Rabbids in there is going to be wild.
I’m mainly on the fence about whether I should join Team Rabbid to troll those that want it to be serious and help pollute the lobby.
I wonder how this is going to shake out in the long term. A lot of studios are set up in Montreal purely because of the tax breaks and it’s evidently easy enough for some to close down or move away. It’s certainly not going to be a destination companies will look to set up new studios or offshoots in the future if the tax breaks are less enticing than even other Canadian provinces.
But that’s how game development works right? The first game is already out there, so you can hire some cheaper and fresher developers to churn out a sequel no problem. The code is already there! Quarterly profits 101.
