To add to this, I can only be who I am here because I am so fucking queer, and I genuinely weep for all my queer siblings who get little or no opportunities to express themselves.

Those who we fight for, and my story and so many like mine, is why the fight matters so much. Never give up, everyone deserves this feeling!

You may or may not have noticed that when you upload a pic that there's an option to add alt text to the picture so that people who are visually impaired can know what the pic is.

It only takes a few seconds and helps to add to the richness and inclusiveness that helps make Mastodon the unique place that it is.

I know it's not what you are used to, but once you get in the habit, you'll find it's easy to do, and your followers will appreciate it.

That mythology was important for nation building, in modern |independant Ireland, weaving in all the old stories ( a lot have truth in them – that’s all I’ll say for now), but it’s tricky to pick apart much loved legends which the public associate with the Iron Age from archaeological hardcore science and evidence.

I remember spending so many hours talking with my grandma, Emma Elizabeth S(ch)wager (née van Dragt). Sunday roast lunches watching Bill Collins' Golden Years of Hollywood matinee movies and musicals on TV. When I first moved out of home it was next door to help my aunt care for her. She passed away in 1997. I remember the phone call at work in Auburn, coming home to the house and being with her kids as she sat there motionless and finally at peace.
