What are people using to transmit remote temperature readings to something I can access on my Wi-Fi network? I have a remote standalone unit but the #Hoophouse is to far away from the house.

I’m not real techy. Anyplace to start my education would be appreciated. Looking for something that doesn’t connect outside to the internet or depend on a questionable third party app.
