The Fallout show is so good, it’s honestly kind of absurd.
It struck just the right tone, the sets and props are amazing, the direction is superb, the characters well written, and the actors do great stuff with the material.
@mattontech Agreed, I'm not fully through yet, but I'm hooked and despite enjoying Fallout 4 a lot, I've never been more into the universe than with this show.
I wouldn't recommend it at the moment, but maybe the game is totally for you? I spent two hours with it and tried my hand at editing it down to something more watchable.
The perverse incentives to 🏴☠️ are kind of amusing, but the fraud is not. I would never have guessed "I should own the things I buy" would be a hill we'd have to fight on.
@Emmadrime I think the political class has no idea how these things tend to work. For example, requiring companies to provide self hostable servers and clients when they end the provision of a service (such as live service games, etc.) - basically burning any investment (time, money) made by a player is a pretty tough sell.
I've been writing to representatives about this for a while (in Germany) and never really got any sensible reply on it.
