I'm so disappointed with people here for not speaking against the rapes our women and girls have gone through by Hamas. Believe all women just... Not Jewish women huh? Then you wonder how the Holocaust happened or why Israelis say this denial is anti-semitic. You dehumanize Jews again with your silence and biased belief to Hamas propaganda. You make me sick.

@skaly I don't believe that anyone actually believed it didn't happen. Hamas has been brutally trafficking Africans for slavery and organs for a long time already. I think people just say they don't believe it because they don't care. They've picked a side and that's it. Their side are angels and the other demons. Especially when it's people far away or two marginalized groups they wouldn't give a crap about were the issue not trending anyway.

Hey everyone :-) I'm alive. Most of the activity is in the center and south so far. I'm in the north in Haifa. There was a rocket hit about a block away from some of my loved ones though. Once again, we are the meat in the politicians' grinding machine.

@itsjoshbruce fingers crossed. That was the essence of the message of most legit prophets I think. I am hoping one day they get to non externalizing. The day they do though, I hope they understand to guide others very gently and carefully, and don't freak out.

@Jyoti @FlashMobOfOne I feel you. This is part of what became extremely tiring about community/topical blogging. Before I can link to someone I have to go trawl their other content to make sure I'm not promoting a hater. One recently got too close for comfort, and that was really disheartening. I don't blame you for being very done. Sometimes it's good to take some rest.

@siblingpastry @Nezchan as innocent as its origin may be, as you said, it has been appropriated, so in practice, we web designers and marketers who care about quality out here need to adapt to both survive and not further enshittify things.

@siblingpastry @Nezchan I agree that it should be reclaimed, but for marketing's sake, I think a bit of "bob and weave" is in order. What I personally decided to do was to limit the use of the term "content" if for no other reason but to show that I'm aware of the specifics and that it is labor. At least for those involved in helping the creative break their dependency on centralized social media, it shows some distinction from those who just see them as traffic mules and not people.
