#DadaistJournal: Ridiculously Good Ideas

Started a new project, because I couldn't just tidy the room. Instead of emptying the room of lots of paper in a quick efficient manner, I am now accumulating cut-up text, and use them to re-purpose the pages of word lists, to paste into a #DadaistArtJournal. 😂

It’s a funny word, “schmooze.” It comes from the Yiddish, shmuesn, and before that from Hebrew, approximately shemuoth, according to my Webster’s.

Leo Rosten, in The Joys of , says it refers to a “friendly, gossipy, prolonged, heart-to-heart talk.” No other word, he avers, “conveys ‘heart-to-heart chit-chat’ as warmly.”
