Given responses from paramilitarized police forces to violently arrest peacefully protesting college students, I hope more normies + "reasonable" centrists begin to fathom that police & policing is a red-flag, uncontrollable danger to ALL of us.

I hope this especially sinks in for those that don't live in urban areas yet believe their local news when it tells them that NYC is a crime-ridden war zone.

Although I say things are rubbish today, they’re kind of rubbish on paper, but I am struggling to care. I know it’s depression talking, but not only do I not really care if we don’t go on holiday, I don’t really care about my PhD and whether I ever go back. Which is nuts, because it was my big dream.
