The Disney princess lineup has always had some odd inclusions and exclusions. Mulan is considered a Disney princess^TM despite not actually having the title, as is Alice (some random girl), Pocahontas (chieftain’s daughter, which I guess you can argue is a similar concept), Moana (see above), Mirabel (another random girl without a position of authority), Tinker Bell, Jane Porter (although she is a noble, which is at least similar) and Megara. (From Hercules, in case you also forget that movie existed)
Likewise, the lineup does not include Nala, despite actually possessing the title explicitly. (Is Disney racist against lions or something?) Nor does it include Eilonwy, though that’s understandable considering The Black Cauldron flopped so hard it nearly tanked their animation department. It doesn’t include any acquired properties either, so as funny as it is to lump Leia into the group, officially she doesn’t count.
They are absolutely still interested in challenging it. They’ve been talking about repealing it since the day that it was enacted. Why do you think they keep dialing up the anti LGBT rhetoric? Do you think that they just threw up their hands and said “oh well!” when that thing they railed against for decades happened? That which they raged against with all the hatred in their hearts. That they insisted was a sin against god and would lead to the collapse of Western civilization?

I seem to recall digital trading card games existing long before NFTs were ever thought up, so not even that works. In fact, every “use” for NFTs I’ve ever seen suggested has been something we already had that is actually easier without involving the things.
We don’t “force” them to do it. This is repeatedly established to be something they enjoy doing. BW even has this as a plot point: N, a young man who is somehow able to understand Pokémon, is initially of the same point of view as you. To his astonishment, most Pokémon outright refuse to abandon their trainers. At first he chalks this up to some form of brainwashing, but over the course of the game he comes to realize that their desires to train and become stronger are in fact genuine. He ultimately decides it isn’t right for him to decide what they want for them, and spends the sequel targeting abusive trainers exclusively as opposed to tearing down the institution of Pokémon training in it’s entirety. >!There’s also some stuff about a bigger big bad grooming him to be the face of Team Plasma while he controls the group from the shadows, complete with strongly implied child abuse. Oh, and the reason the bigger bad wants to “liberate” Pokémon to begin with is so that no trainer can oppose his own team when he goes for world domination. You know, typical RPG stuff!<
When I was a younger I made up a dark type gym leader OC who’s thing is he acts like an edgelord when he’s on the clock but is otherwise pretty chill when he punches out. I always thought it was a pretty funny concept that I’d love to see in a game. So that’s me.
Yeah, I was fine. Mostly. Probably. I just thought it would be a funny concept to have a character like that who’s dark and brooding exclusively when he’s on the job, and is friendly to just about everyone the rest of the time.
In Majora’s Mask it was thematically relevant though. Death is omnipresent in the land of Termina. You can’t walk 10 minutes in any cardinal direction without walking into a dead guy. The repetition of the number 4 throughout the game plays into that.
Shiekah could work since Kakiriko is the nearest non-hylian city. I think Kokiri were ruled out pretty early in development, since they don’t appear in Creating a Champion very much.
Link is already the Hylian champion though. I suppose it wouldn’t be impossible to have two, but it would be an odd decision from a creative standpoint.
In real life when you look at the most intelligent animals on earth, most of them are mammals. It makes sense that they would achieve human level intelligence before any other class of animal.

In order to get fresh blood for their little terrorist cells, they have to pretend that the Nazis had clean hands and were the victims of a grand conspiracy because that’s the only way to make themselves look decent. That’s also why they insist that even though the holocaust “didn’t happen”, that it " should have ". Because in their own narrative, the Jewish people are an organized force behind all of the worlds problems, and from that perspective they’ve gotten away with countless crimes that the holocaust could have prevented. You can imagine that the conspiracy theorists who get suckered in by this lie eventually become the people who sell it. It’s a cycle that is intentionally set up to radicalize those who distrust authority.
