Kolrami,

They tried to restore the Pyramid of Menkaure by adding granite stones to the exterior, but they stopped because of social media pushback.

Kolrami,

I wrote it because it was relevant to the discussion.

Kolrami,

Doesn’t seem staged. The demo was imperfect in very normal ways. One imperfection was when it was referencing an old picture that he had earlier sent to the program.

I’d be more convinced it was staged if everything were perfect.

Kolrami,

Is it Missi Pyle’s husband Casey Anderson?

The picture’s not too clear, but I bet there aren’t a lot of famous people that are best friends with a bear.

Kolrami,

The only time I enjoyed a toxic fan base was for the show Under the Dome. Everyone seemed to hate watch the show and it made the whole thing more fun. The toxicity had the benefit of not being about social issues and just about how the show wasn’t high quality writing.

Off the top of my head, one thing people hated is that the main character hurt her leg and wore the bandage over her jeans.

Man, I should rewatch that show.

Kolrami,

If this weren’t gendered I’m not sure I would connect that this was posted as result of people’s reaction to the bears vs men thing.

Kolrami,

Oddly, “wreckless” might mean the exact opposite.

Kolrami,

He appears to have been radicalized. This other source shows his message that he posted to other people before the attack.

“Peace be upon the Messenger of God. May his peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you,” he wrote in Arabic.

“Brothers please forgive me for any time I have wronged you, I am going in the path of jihad tonight for the sake of Allah Azzawajal,” he then continued in English.

"I am a soldier of the Mujahideen of Al-Qaeda and take responsibility for the actions …

“If you have any illegal or jihadi things online or in real life please make sure to hide them.”

Kolrami,

He looks white to me. White people can be terrorists too.

Kolrami,

The first few episodes definitely hold up because it’s basically a solid 5 part movie. Kids will watch random episodes of shows, but they love and talk about arcs.

Kolrami,

If your list is too long you should care even more in the event that something bad happens.

Kolrami,

It’s more likely that they don’t vote.

Kolrami,

Skylar being in this group is low-key insane. She cheated on her narcissistic drug dealing murderous husband. The rest of these folks are murderers or magical torturers.

Kolrami,

I think most “my kid made an interesting observation” stories sound fake, but this checks out for me.

When kids think of a “law man” they probably think of sheriffs and cops. When a kid overhears an adult mention “law school” they probably think it’s where a “lawman” went to school.

Hamas official says group would lay down its arms if an independent Palestinian state is established (apnews.com)

A top Hamas political official told The Associated Press the Islamic militant group is willing to agree to a truce of five years or more with Israel and that it would lay down its weapons and convert into a political party if an independent Palestinian state is established along pre-1967 borders.

Kolrami,

You just got downvoted for correctly realizing that terrorism is literally a noun. Strange times.

Kolrami,

scholar.google.com is where you want to go.

Also, in my Google-fu experience technical terms work well for finding better scholarly results.

Kolrami,

In fairness, I was thinking specifically of plants. I expect better results when looking up “S. lycopersicum” than “tomato”.

An example off the top of my head is saying pyrite instead of fool’s gold.

Kolrami,

At the very least, it might be nice if they ask you if you want to go there instead.

On the other hand, I’m just happy that Google Scholar hasn’t gotten completely destroyed by SEO yet.

Îf I know what a woolly mammoth is, he should know what a cat is.

Kolrami,

Synchron has a similar technology and their death count appears to be lower than Neuralink’s in animal trials. Unfortunately, this article doesn’t actually show the death rate of the trials.

Kolrami,

Watching the video seems better than reading an article since you get to hear from the patient. It’s in the article, but they posted a Twitter video link.
