Witnessing Lemmy grow in real time is the best way to say it’s natural growth. We had no clients, laggy servers, downtime and bare as bones communities.

It’ll take years to get a decent chunk of Reddit users.

Only the new FIFA 24 is cross play and it’s not even called FIFA anymore. Yes, we are getting old.

LUHG_HANI,
@LUHG_HANI@lemmy.world avatar

FC 24. EA didn’t want to pay FIFA for the naming rights as they asked for a ridiculous amount of money.

Who’s paying for killedbygoogle.com server fees?

We may need to do a whip around.

LUHG_HANI,
@LUHG_HANI@lemmy.world avatar

Ohh boy. Reach around means something very very different to me. 🤣

That’s not 23 and me fault at all then. Basically boils down to password reuse. All i would say is they should have provided 2fa if they didn’t.

Russia announced it had deployed, to Ukraine, its best new artillery-detecting radar. Hours later, the Ukrainians blew it up—with artillery. (www.forbes.com)

Ukraine plinking a Russian GPS-jammer with a GPS-guided bomb. Ukrainian drones blowing up Russian drone-jammers. Ukraine’s cruise missiles striking Russian air-defense sites whose missions include, you guessed it, shooting down cruise missiles....

They do have other drones to drop nets on drones but they are more expensive and then we’ll just end up with drones netting the netting drones.

Big mistake. Seriously, Lemmy has this weird thing about not paying for anything. From music, movies to games. From being a massive open source community you’d expect them to understand things are not free.

If it got that good vr would be in every household. Can’t wait to get a strangers finger up the bum.

Brexit has completely failed for UK, say clear majority of Britons – poll (www.theguardian.com)

A clear majority of the British public now believes Brexit has been bad for the UK economy, has driven up prices in shops, and has hampered government attempts to control immigration, according to a landmark poll by Opinium to mark the third anniversary of the UK fully leaving the EU single market and customs unions....

@LUHG_HANI@lemmy.world avatar

We know it’s 99% COVID not Brexit issues.

How many people in your circle of life would know what “Feedback Loop” meant in climate change?

Probably a very low percentage. People think it’s linear and won’t effect them. Sad years ahead mate.

LUHG_HANI,

Tbh they are not the first car manufacturer to do that. Think Citroen did it about 40+ years ago.

For me If it’s not high quality it’s the most depressing drug the day after. It’s not worth the 30 minute high.

Beeper isn’t relying on this tho. It’s whole USP is unified messaging and it wants iMessage.

LUHG_HANI,

That’s absolutely flat out wrong and honestly concerning.

For a start nicotine addiction (vaping) has not been proven to have any long term health strain on the medical system. To say having a gambling problem is better is just crazy.

You realise the difference between nicotine addiction and gambling addiction right?

Yeh, I got a tax bill though. So that’s nice I guess.

Whoever in the UK thought it would be a good idea to do the income tax payment over Xmas and January needs a slap in the face.

$8.25 for a Starbucks? Man, it’s like £3.55-£4 here in UK.

LUHG_HANI,
@LUHG_HANI@lemmy.world avatar

Satisfying isn’t the word. We have to generally use HP for SAP purposes so unfortunately I have to buy HP for work. Guess what? Every fucking month a few clients need printer support. Just HP bullshit time and time again…

I have brothers, kyoceras and others that just work and work without any issues. But HPs are just nagging offline fucking pains in the ass.

LUHG_HANI,
@LUHG_HANI@lemmy.world avatar

No. It’s like bitwarden. Everyone’s praising them to shill levels because they are generally that good. Brothers just run and run without nagging or insane prices. They do tend to be a little more expensive because they don’t lose money on the hardware like HP or cannon will.

LUHG_HANI,
@LUHG_HANI@lemmy.world avatar

Nothing really. I just can’t make that when traveling. Unfortunately when out and about in the UK you either have Costa, Starbucks or Nero around the same price or McDonald’s and Greggs which is cheaper. It’s very hard to find any local coffee shops.

LUHG_HANI,
@LUHG_HANI@lemmy.world avatar

Maps and signal is like they were trying to contact somebody and see where you lived to return the phone. Banking is weird since you can’t do anything without biometric anyway.

I have tried the PERi-PERI Chicken i've head a lot about since I arrived n the UK, I have to say I thought there was more for 9.25 Pound (slrpnk.net)

So I went to try Nando’s in the UK, because I’ve heard a lot about PERi-PERi Chicken in the least months I went there and I have to say I was confusd on what I received for the price...

LUHG_HANI,
@LUHG_HANI@lemmy.world avatar

Nandos is shit mate. Try non franchises. I can get a chicken burger twice that size and easily nicer for £5.
