I don’t want to seem like I’m playing the victim as everyone else in this community is having the same executive functioning issues I’m having and I don’t mean to distract from those things but having to navigate these issues while being constantly reminded of my race is exhausting....
That sucks, and the people who said those things are terrible. My experience was different from yours in a lot of ways, but I will say my stress levels post college were a lot more manageable. It sounds like right now you have school, work, mental health, public speaking, and family on your plate all at the same time, its not suprising that that would weigh on you. Hopefully in a few years time things will be more figured out and the things that can be taken care of will be.
I think its pretty cool how much work you are putting in, its a lot more than many people ever do. I’m sure it’ll pay off for you.
I know the feeling of “these games should exist” and then the disapointment of them just not existing.
I remember back in the super smash bros brawls days wondering why there were no good smash clones and nowadays we have several, so don’t lose hope. The day of the PS2 style platformer renaissance may yet come!
Speaking on PS2 though have you ever heard of/played Alien Echo? Its more of a hack and slash than a platformer but it does have shooting and its a lot of fun. Cheap too, I got my copy at a local store for $10.
I got my ears pierced a while back and I’ve mostly worn easy to miss jewelry, but my SO got me these big dangly cat earrings for xmas and I decided to finally wear them. Still absolutely terrified to go into like a store or something but its been fun around friends and family. Its the most feminine thing I’ve done around...

Buy a tomato. Slice it. Buy presliced mozarella Alternate tomato and mozarella on a plate. Put basil on top. Drizzle either balsamic vinagrette or salt and olive oil.
Delicous and super easy.
Also sometimes I make a quick melt on the waffle press, season with garlic powder and shredded parmeson, and dip in salsa. Fantastic and super easy.
