Most of the activity is forecast to occur in smaller, more affordable cities.
Oh good, just what we need. In the west I’m blown away by the cost of housing in many small towns that a decade ago you could get a huge house for under $100 000. It made sense when Vancouver was expensive because all the high paying jobs were there, but how are people affording these house prices in locations without abundant jobs?
I agree with your points but I’m curious what your solution is to single family homes that are being rented out? The obvious one is everyone who wants to buy a place is able to, but not everyone wants to buy yet (younger people, people who want flexibility, people who know they are moving [only in that city for school], etc). Having some corporation own everything is also obviously the worst option, but that only really leaves the government and the mom and pop operations (that is people who own 1 place and buy another to rent it out). Should all single family homes be run as co-ops? Torn down and rental apartments built instead?
Again, I agree that single entities owning multiple rental places is a bad thing, but there doesn’t seem an obvious replacement. So I am genuinely curious as what can be done?
I have been reading a lot lately about not wearing outside shoes in the house and it interests me even more because I’ve been saving to re-carpet my whole house. It hits me every now and then about how to do things though, like, say I’m cooking all day on Sunday then need to take the trash out. I’m assuming it’s change...
This sounds like Pickton. His farm is close to Vancouver which also is the set for a decent amount of movies, and supposedly some human flesh made it into circulation with pork products.
Honestly, Canada would need to build a second dedicated line just for passenger trains to make it anywhere usable. Currently, passenger trains are last priority on the tracks to freight trains, so consequently they take forever to go anywhere. I just double checked on the website, to travel from Toronto to Vancouver it takes roughly 5 days and costs $1050, and to return it takes roughly 4 days and costs $700, for a total of 9 days travel and $1750.
The same trip dates on westjet will take roughly 10 hours and cost $1450.
It’s just not feasible if the train takes longer and costs more, who would take that option?
The irony is if more people use bikes there are fewer vehicles on the road, making traffic better. Why people are so opposed to bike infrastructure is always so confusing to me.
Let’s say I hypothetically had some mice pee in some plastic components that cannot be properly cleaned in any realistic way. Is it possible to heat it up to “cook off” the mouse pee nastiness without actually melting the plastic?
As a counter point to your question, I am a fully sighted person and I rarely have dreams that involve vision, or only partially involve it. Sort of always blurry/like being in a fog. So dreams for me are far more about the other senses, or just conceptual in nature.
a little funny in the head. Big super fluffy orange tabby
Orange cats collectively share a couple brain cells that they rub together for ideas when it’s their turn with the braincells. Trust me, I also have an orange tabby who is the cuddliest little special one.
