Allow me to add to the torrent of #Aurora Borealis photos. These are from Cambridgeshire, taken with a Nikon D5300. Never seen this phenomenon in person before, it was unforgettable. My partner and I even saw 2 meteorites while we were out, one of which visibly sizzled out into sparks.

The formation of the Open Home Foundation is incredibly encouraging to see. I already know the folks behind #HomeAssistant and the related projects' principles very much align with my own, so it's great to see that codified.

Electronics knowwits - I've got a mosfet here where the gate is going to get 1.5v when it's "on", I'm trying to read the datasheet, but I think it's saying the max the source can be is 1.2v (or is that the triggering max edge and everything else is moot)?
