It hasn’t been as hot today as originally predicted; still humid and 85 (real feel 94), but lots of clouds and a breeze have kept the extreme heat at bay. I’m watching golf (okay, reading while it’s on) in the cool bedroom. Mark is helping friends set up a tent for a local music festival later; hope storms don’t interfere.

Middle of August; the summer is spinning out. But I love Fall so much, so it’s all good. And we’ve had long, warm summer-like Autumns here in recent years. And it’s a beautiful morning in Michigan! I cleaned Wednesday instead of gardening, so today I’ll tackle my messy flower beds.
