The Caldeirão Verde waterfall during a really heavy downpour, which was probably one of the most tropically impressive views in Madeira, Portugal. 🇵🇹 This waterfall is 100 meters high, and the water flows into a huge basin. My entire photo equipment was totally soaked, miraculously nothing was damaged!

Glad I had a grocery pickup to motivate me out of the apartment so I could enjoy the river's funky color today. I'm assuming the mud in the waters is lots o runoff from upstream.

Many houses were damaged due to the flooded water buffers in Berg en Terblijt (Limburg region) and a resulting mud flow.
It's not yet clear yet how extensive the damage is. That will become clear on Friday morning.
