This is what I call my doctor's office visit kit. site K-7956 is less than a mile from my endocrinologist office. Depending on smoke from Canada will hopefully activate today after appointment.

@qrper This whole thing fits into a small bag which contains arborist throw line & weight. Weights 3.5 lbs.

No Field Day for me this year but you can catch me doing a Pre-Field Day early activation from K-7956 Beargrass Creek State Nature Preserve

On 8/8/21, I made my 1st activation at K-7956. Today I completed my 2000th at K-7956. Thanks to @potaspots, all volunteers & hunters who helped me achieve this milestone. I've learned so much about myself, , , , , since then. Thanks @ParksOnTheAir

@wa7iut I was hoping conditions had improved from earlier minor R1 blackout. Solar winds were well above 725 with a and K index levels of 38 and 4 respectfully. No real DX as 20 meters was dead for me and lots of rapid QSB on 40, I'll try another nighttime POTA activation next week
