I am currently redesigning my kitchen in a 1930’s Midwestern USA house. The kitchen has a decent floor area but the floor plan is oddly restrictive....
We are two people and run the dishwasher every 2-3 days, but it’s really nice to go lazy and throw a pot or pan in there, along with a few plates. You’re not gonna get away with that if you go with the little dishwasher.
Also, you’re basically using the same amount of energy and water either way. Probably less for the larger one if you compare them full.

I know. We actually don’t (can’t) force OT. Strictly voluntary, with a 12-hour maximum.
Unfortunately (on this topic) I’m the acting Supervisor, so it kinda sorta falls in my lap when everyone says no. I don’t actually have to do it, but if I don’t, then there would be fairly major reporting problems with the state, not to mention public safety issues, and that would be more trouble than adjusting my schedule every once in a while.
We’re, like almost all city positions, critically understaffed. Hiring is slow, but hopefully we get a new crop of people to train in the next several months.
Man, I wish my city had the bandwidth to worry about Cocaine.
I don’t know how far down the list that drug is, but it’s pretty goddamned far. I’m certain we’re more concerned about what it might be cut with than the drug itself.
I bought a cheap suit with the intention of making it look good through tailoring, but I don’t know how to actually get that done. The local stores don’t have websites and haven’t picked up when I called, should I just walk in with the suit? Do I need an appointment? Also, how much should I expect to pay? (California)...
When you’re at the tailor, have him take your measurements. You can use those to order your next suit from indochino. They do nice, made-to-measure suits on a budget.
Talk me out of an 18" dishwasher. (or into it)

I just got to work at 02:30, covering the second half of the graveyard shift. Pretty quiet night.
