I think people see the resemblance to anime when they visit Japan is cause it’s super clean in most Metropolitan areas and the rest of the world just isn’t used to that.

And also, it’s common for Manga and anime artists to visit actual areas in japan and take pictures to use as references in their works. So a lot of popular media is literally using irl areas, I visited a bunch of the sailor moon areas including the shrine when I went to visit.

As someone who was single and looking on dating apps a year ago I wish they did. Would have made my job easier since I don’t want kids and not everyone puts that on there. I was extremely upfront about being a loser gamer (I play league) that doesn’t want kids. You’d be surprised about the amount of people who still contacted me based on looks alone and didn’t bother to read the bio.

I was extremely upfront cause I know who I am and what I want and I’m not hiding it. Take me or leave me. Turns out It worked and I found my fiancee that way.

I knew a couple who were married and together for 20 years and didn’t live together. My manager as well, she’s married and they don’t technically live together but he stays at her house 4 days a week. I also knew a couple who were just friends with benefits and lived together and coparented their 2 kids, they had separate rooms.

Just find the type of relationship that works for you.

Edit: some extra context for anyone interested. The first couple were young professionals and they enjoyed their privacy and alone time. For my manager it was her second marriage and they were both in their 50th, they both had their lives and this way was just easier for them, iirc they’ve been together for like 7ish years. As for the last couple my ex used to watch them on tiktok, seemed like it worked out for them, they were a Mexican couple.

I also wonder what they consider an active user. Would logging in through Facebook to play a mobile game count? What about just logging in through Facebook on any site to get an account on that site? I know I probably check my Facebook once every 3 months to check up on fam but other than that I don’t use it.

I love league, been playing it since season one. I literally never recommend it to anyone. If anyone wants to get in willingly I just nod and let them know I’m down to play if they are. I don’t even try to teach them or anything unless they ask a question. You have to be here for the flames willingly, otherwise it’s not worth your time to try and play cause friends play. The worst flamers are low elo and high elo. It’s mostly OK in the middle and league has really stepped up their ban hammer in the past couple months.

My guy, air bnb didn’t cause the shortage or even significantly make it worse. It’s the mega corps that literally own hundreds of thousands of homes across the US and just rent them out. I’m not even upset at boomers who own 3 or 4 rental properties and I work with a lot of them. It’s always mega corps fucking it up for the rest of us.

Yea that’s cause originally it was just meant to be gamer friends voice chatting and text chatting with each other. They build all the other features on top of what they had originally so it’s terrible as a reddit/social media alternative.

As someone who went to the greater Tokyo area about a month ago. I can unironically confirm that pretty much everything does have subtitles. (in the form of text translation and most workers speak some sort of english/have someone available that speaks english)

Was a bit of a shock when I went to Japan and all the stalls are just small rooms within the restroom. It was nice. Bidet game is on point too.

I have to use an apple phone for work and it’s sorta annoying to use. Like sure it’s fast and snappy but there’s no back button and it isn’t as intuitive as Apple users want you to believe it is.

Iirc judges actually look into all assets including recently sold ones and that can go back several years specifically to catch people trying to shield their money in cases where they might owe a lot. Judges REALLY frown upon this and go after the assets anyways. It happened to Alex Jones, he sold his properties and assets to a company he owns to try and not pay anything to the sand hook parents. Judge was very displeased with him.
