Have you ever tried silkscreen printing?

I’ve wanted to try it for a long time, but never got around to it. I’m curious about any techniques that are more grass roots outside of the commercialized space, like what are the absolute minimum things needed when repeatability, convenience, and time are not important factors, but money and access to rare markets is...

Roldyclark,

Find a local place that has the equipment. I have friends running successful art print businesses using a local art studios gear, and they offer classes and are great for community too. It seems really fun and rewarding!

Roldyclark,

This is one of the local spaces and the work made there: www.studiotwothree.org/shop

Roldyclark,

Sheet music is 1/8 note scales and she plays some open chords and hums? Lol

Roldyclark,

Some stuff you can def grow yourself easily and not have to buy at the store. I don’t have to buy tomato’s all summer just from a few plants. Never buy herbs. But yeah sustenance farming I am not. Support local farmers!

Roldyclark,

American grocery store produce is really expensive now. $40 for a week of veggies would be a good deal in my area. Plus you’re supporting local agriculture.

Roldyclark,

Been seeing grackles all over down here in Virginia

Americans are choking on surging fast-food prices. "I can't justify the expense," one customer says (www.cbsnews.com)

Kevin Roberts remembers when he could get a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink from Five Guys for $10. But that was years ago. When the Virginia high school teacher recently visited the fast-food chain, the food alone without a beverage cost double that amount....

Roldyclark,

This guys such a douche lol. Love how he implies young people wouldn’t protest injustice if they could afford houses.

Roldyclark,

I listened to a podcast about these electric puddle jumpers and how they actually could make a huge dent in aviation CO2.

Roldyclark,

I love my Nokia dumbphone. Great for when I wanna leave my iPhone behind.

Roldyclark,

We have one of those around the corner, never anything new in it tho :/

Roldyclark,

If I saw someone shoplifting anything I wouldn’t lol none my business

Roldyclark,

The should have put a little pixel face on the front

Which movies have aged like fine wine? (either in their message or cinematography)

I recently saw ‘Don’t Look Now’ (1973). Good picture, a little slow perhaps by today’s standards but worthy of any movie enjoyer’s time! So this movie was shot in Venice. Venice itself being an already beautiful spot to film even today. The way we get to look in a time capsule of Venice in the 70s makes the movie that...

Roldyclark,

All my friends are obsessed with Costco and I refuse to join because of this movie. They’ve all never seen it and don’t get why I say this every time they mention it.

Roldyclark, (edited )

Definitely. Silencio!
