Damn. When I was in high school, we had a Sadie Hawkins dance (where the roles are reversed: girls ask boys, they pay for the tickets, etc) each year, along with homecoming and prom for the seniors. My senior year, a classmate told me that she had always wanted to go to said dance with a guy who would dress as a girl, so I immediately offered to do it because I thought it’d be fun.
Aside from a couple chaperones and the principal avoiding eye contact with me at all costs, no one said anything bad. The other guys thought it was either whatever or funny, and the girls didn’t give a shit.
If you like open world survival crafting games, and a fan of sci-fi/Half-Life/SCP at all, Abiotic Factor just came out into early access, and it’s pretty fun. The current content can last you anywhere from 30-70 hours right now, and they’re only going to be adding more throughout the rest of the year (the 1.0 release is expected to be around November-December).
I just finished the story so far in my main game, and I have another character with a small group I found on the discord’s LFG channel.
It all comes back to “Drama Kids” from school. And I don’t mean people who love to spread drama, but I mean theater kids. They LOOOOVE the spotlight, hence why they went into theater. They crave the attention, and they’re willing to put themselves out there for it regardless.
You’re saying you’ve never met or known a theater person who wasn’t a total piece of shit? Because I’ve known a few myself. They’re the star of the show, regardless of what’s going on around them.
Sync, all the way. I strictly used Sync for reddit after the first real enshittification (to me) of reddit a couple years back, and once the app was reworked for Lemmy I switched and haven’t looked back.
Like others have said, it looks great, almost fully customizable UI, works really well, and saves your place when you’re scrolling through comments on posts if you back out.

I honestly love Going Medieval. I found out about it from Spiffing Brit and Ambiguous Amphibian videos and have made a few different settlements since.
Or shit why not all the old PlayStation games? I would pay decent money to play all the Sly Cooper games, all the Jak & Daxter games, and even the InFamous games on PC.
I’m naming it Smoke on the Water because obviously I am, but I don’t want to smash a champagne bottle because I don’t drink. What’s something pot related I can do instead?
I love the immediate “smash a bong” energy from some of these comments, but if you don’t want a huge mess you could just smash a small glass pipe/bowl on it for a christening.
