No, i think hard working artists like me put them there, and pay for the ability to do so. I’m not saying people that work at Spotify don’t deserve a paycheck, i’m saying the artists need a larger one.

I think the theater near Lincoln Center in NYC has this format. I saw 300 there, and something else but I can’t remember what. It looks absolutely insane.

I think this has been the first week when I didn’t have to like put Lemmy down cause I was just seeing posts I had already seen. It’s nice to have a good feed to scroll again, and not feel like I have to deep dive posts and read every comment just to see something new. Feelsgoodman.

I purchased molded earplugs that came with inserts for both -5db and -30db protection. Ran me like ~$150 total I think. Sorry but it was a few years ago.

Either way I went to a local ENT Doctor and got my ears fitted, and receive my plugs a week or two later. They were listed as “musician’s plugs” and have a very flat response. Or maybe it’s a curved response. I’m not sure how it should be said. What I’m getting at is the attenuated sound I hear is very true to what I would hear without them, just quieter. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

The ENT just fitted me. She sent the molds out to a manufacturer.

You also got me at a great moment since I’m now next to my earplugs. I had a few points wrong so let me correct. They are called “HearPro” and come in -9db and -25db. There’s also apparently -15db available. Made by Etymōtic Research Inc (in Illinois).

I introduced my wife to Star Wars a few years back. She went from "i'm not that interested" to 30 minutes into A New Hope saying "ok, I get why you love this so much" to crying during every season of Rebels which she sought out and watched by herself.

Just convince her to watch one movie together with you. The rest will happen on it's own.

My wife puts sliced apple in salad all the time. My aunt makes panini sandwiches with apple or pear slices on them. Apples are the best.
