SadSadSatellite,

So I’ve got 7 rgb fans with two zones each, ram with 8 spots on each, four led strips hidden around the case for ambience,an air with a light cap, a keyboard and a mouse. They’re all synced and great. My latest GPU has a light strip on it, and that was honestly too much. It’s too many things for me to care about, I’m fine running the program for the ram, and the program for everything else, but I can’t be bothered to have another thing to control lights on the GPU and motherboard, so I just turn them off.

If anyone knows a complete unifying program for all lights that’s as customizable as corsairs software, I’ll turn them back on. CAM is actually a pretty big program that I’m sure could be done better, but I haven’t found a replacement yet.

SadSadSatellite,

I’m on my first week of vivance and loving it. My head has never been so quiet. Before, it’s like my ears were always ringing and drowning out everything I tried to focus on. Now, all my different thoughts are still there, but I CHOOSE which ones I’m paying attention to. I should have been on meds 20 years ago.

SadSadSatellite,

I want to see a day during the Cambrian explosion

Greed has proven to be a more effectively harmful force against humanity than hatred. We should have greed crimes in addition to hate crimes.

Hatred often makes you want to hurt people, but people hurt peope in the name of greed more often, and not only with less potential for guilt, but is often the cause of delusional accolades and reassurance both from within oneself and from others....

SadSadSatellite,

That’s actually a fantastic way to word what I’ve been thinking about for years. Greed crimes.

I don’t know where you’re from, but as an American, I’d rally for that to be an amendment.

SadSadSatellite,

I’m bias due to my profession, and regularly get attacked for this point on the Internet by people who think they know better, but glasses.

My eyes aren’t even bad, but when I wear them, holy shit is there a difference between the high tech new stuff and basic lenses.

Anyone that tells you online glasses are just as good has never had a 600$ pair from a real (not chain) optical. Anyone who says they have got ripped off by Pearl vision or LensCrafters.

SadSadSatellite,

So I can only see white and gold, but if I angle my phone away from me and look at the side, it turns black and blue. When I straighten it out again, back to white and gold.

SadSadSatellite,

Man if I could get more music like totorros home alone I could die happy

SadSadSatellite,

There are a ton of great horror games, but I’ll give some lesser known titles that made an impact on me.

Dollhouse: a film noir, old Hollywood themed constant pursuit game. Very cool soundtrack, and gameplay that’s unlike anything I’ve played. It has an interesting mechanic where you see through your pursuers eyes to locate objectives, but I doing so give away your position. It suffered from development hell and a ten year hype train that ended in review bombing it never recovered from. Give it a chance though, it’s great.

Lost in Vivo: a silent hill inspired first person horror game with a lot of clear inspiration and references. You have to save your emotional support corgi who gets washed down a storm drain into sewers full of ghosts and monsters. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and has a lot of goofy jokes, but is solidly scary as well. It’s made by akuma kira, known for spooky’s jumpscare mansion.

Dread X collections: several games comprised of mini projects by students and developers that fit into the horror genre. For a low price you get several games that range from confusing first attempts to unique art projects and solidly fun games. The first few are narrated by the guy from receiver 2, and there’s a few szymanski and kira games included. It’s been a while since I played through them, but I think 2 was my favorite.

Year walk: a point and click exploration horror based on Scandinavian folklore. Interesting, almost construction paper aesthetic, and lots of good puzzles.

Anyone into horror has to already be aware of RE7, Silent hill, Dead space, outlast, alien, hunt: showdown, and hellblade, but if not, check those out as well.

SadSadSatellite,

It was fantastic setting up dolphin and playing it with upgraded visuals. One of my favorite games ever made.

What episode/trend of The Simpsons turned you off of the show? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

For me it was Lisa Goes Gaga. It was focused entirely on Lady Gaga who played herself and was awkwardly inserted, I don’t mind the occasional brief celebrity appearance or when they lend their voice to other characters (ex. Meryl Streep playing Jessica Lovejoy in Bart’s Girlfriend) but they started to feel so forced. I tried...

SadSadSatellite,

I actually haven’t been a fan for a long time, just bumped into the thread browsing all. At some point a formula for the shows became apparent to me, and I realized for the majority of the episodes, there’s a standard series of event-misunderstanding/misdirect-main event/conflict-resolution. Once I saw it, I couldn’t help noticing the first 10 minutes of every episode didn’t matter and I lost interest.

SadSadSatellite,

The lord’s need to remember that money can’t buy life

SadSadSatellite,

I feel like it would confuse me on occasion, but I love the idea of replacing it with gluten free

SadSadSatellite,
