Reagan is the source of most of America's problems at this point. The Student Debt Crisis, The Housing Crisis, all manner of crises can be traced back to the Reagan administration. Hell, the elimination of the Fairness Doctrine that let slip the dogs of AM Right Wing Radio to actively attack any progress as Communism in disguise is pretty much the 1st dot in connecting the dots to the mainstreaming of conspiracy theory. Between Reagan and Gingrich, the country was broken.

I feel okay today after a slight sickness yesterday. I definitely think COVID weakened my immune system, because I didn't used to get this sick this frequently. I stayed home from work to recoup, though, since I barely slept last night.

Antifascists in Warsaw getting up graffiti and stickers to commemorate the anniversary of the The Warsaw Uprising, which began on 1 August 1944, a major World War II operation by the Polish underground resistance to liberate Warsaw from German occupation.

It was led by the Polish resistance Home Army and was timed to coincide with the retreat of the German forces from Poland ahead of the Soviet advance. While approaching the eastern suburbs of the city, the Red Army halted combat operations, enabling the Germans to regroup and defeat the Polish resistance and to destroy the city in retaliation. The Uprising was fought for 63 days with little outside support. It was the single largest military effort taken by any European resistance movement during World War II.

    Martin Luther had a thing for popular 16th-century humour, and was prone to referring to Pope Pope Paul III as an ass. He also referred to the Pope emitting flatulences out of their donkey, I mean, ass, calling them "pope fart-ass". This 16th-century illustration from a Lutheran tract illustrates the idea.

    And before you ask, yes, the figure seen here is rather exaggeratedly feminine. Luther also liked referring to the Pope as "Her Sodomitical Hellishness Pope Paula". But this is enough ass for you today - go do your own research!
