and will in fact do irreparable damage to the children in question

Well, yeah… that’s the whole point of the law.

So are ostriches and their meat looks like this (image stolen from American Ostrich Farms)

As a Counterpoint: ostriches are birds, are close to some dinosaurs in form and they have red meat.

Two of my favorite meats. If I could get some cheap-ish I’d definitely try it. However, nobody sells it locally and all online retailers want around $30 a pound, so that’s not happening.

You’ve been able to patent asexually reproduced plants since 1930, so if a new paper production centric hemp breed was primarily reproduced by cuttings it would be patent-able. If said hemp breed were reproduced via seeds, then you’d need to use the Plant Variety Protection Act of 1970 which allows very similar legal protections.

Also, according to this “revenue sharing” is only available to a “selected group”. So those people were probably manually selected.

When you get to lesser known topics Bard still “lies” quite frequently in my experience.

On the DS/3DS? Not much, Totk is eating most of my gaming time. I’ve nearly finished it (and I’m starting to burn out on it), so that’ll probably change soon.

Anyway, about the only thing I’ve played on the 3DS for the last week have been the daily challenges in Retro Game Challenge 2.

Unsurprisingly, the “ad revenue” is apparently only being paid out to select individuals. So, in all likelihood someone at Twitter decreed that Tate would be one of the lucky few reviving money.

I have more than a few suspicions on who the “someone” that put Tate on the list is.

Wouldn’t heat be the main problem in a car? On a sunny hot day a car can get up 130+ easy, add in the heating from the sun actually hitting the print and it’s not hard to imagine it could get warm enough to become a little malleable.

Considering how rape-y Zeus is, I can’t say that I’d find that statement comforting.

It always amazes me how much people on the internet think the world revolves around them. “A niche server of a niche social media network? It’s obviously them directly trying to thwart me!”

I doubt there will be one. IMO this is just Musk talking shit because he’s mad people are ignoring Twitter.

Even though it’s not worth the time, I occasionally use farmers to “fence” stolen vegetables. Just for the irony of “The honest pay for honest work” line.

Thank god it’s bolted down, otherwise some tourist might steal this valuable artifact.

Oh, god. Someone probably would.

How to de-radicalize my mom's youtube algorithm?

She’s almost 70, spend all day watching q-anon style of videos (but in Spanish) and every day she’s anguished about something new, last week was asking us to start digging a nuclear shelter because Russia was dropped a nuclear bomb over Ukraine. Before that she was begging us to install reinforced doors because the...

I do that, too.

However I’m convinced that Youtube still has a “suggest list” bound to IP addresses. Quite often I’ll have videos that other people in my household have watched suggested to me. While some of it can be explained by similar interests, but it happens a suspiciously often.

Who could have possibly seen this coming? Other than… ya know, everyone with half a functioning brain cell.

Sludgehammer,

Hmm… given the current tech fad’s I’m gonna guess something AI related. Maybe AI generated NPCs or something.

Sludgehammer,
@Sludgehammer@lemmy.world avatar

I’m not sure that matters to Musk at this point, since he seems to be following the Trump business plan of “Promise richly and then skip out when the bills come due”.
