The majority of "innovation" in modern tech & fintech capitalism is just finding ways to legally create layers of FUD between "over promise, under deliver" and overt consumer fraud.

You know, there was a point in the not so distant past where we all kinda tacitly agreed we'd all choose the bear such that it was just a regular TV show that was beamed into everyone's home on the weekly.
Finally getting back to the gym after a long layoff, easing back in. I went on Sunday and did 215lb deadlift as a moderate weight, but ended up straining my forearm (grip strength) crazily enough. (I was deadlifting 300lbs before I took my break). So today I dropped it down to 145lbs - and I managed, but had to switch to a mixed grip to get it done bc of lingering pain in my right forearm.

When they first released Siamese Dream, they were going to play at Avalon in Boston (it was a tiny club). They just went nova and tickets were impossible so I missed my chance.
I did see Radiohead there back in 94 and they put on an amazing show.
