“Thank you for all of your help. In the last week I have gone from $1800/$6k to $2350/$6000.

That’s including the only donation I got yesterday, $25 from a wonderful friend.

Another deadline has passed.

So another late fee is included. I attached screenshots, so you can see the kind of bills I’m dealing with.

(One of them is a cell phone bill, we have two sets of twins 😂)

But in reality those smaller donations often add up to even more when 100 people are doing them!

So please, any amount you can spare. I am desperate to get out of this cycle of getting further and further behind on bills.

I never get to have the rest that is supposed to make me better. I know people think that’s just something people say.

There’s no way I can raise $100k a month by myself and stay alive.

Please help get me back to being stable if you can.

This is my main care facility and I no longer have credit cards to put these totals on.

In addition, one of the side effects of the oral part of my chemo regimen causes joint pain.

I had it mildly before. But today it’s so bad that I can’t lift my arms high enough to change clothes without help.

It’s the younger twins birthday. I can’t even hug my birthday boys.

And I definitely cannot do any of the active fundraising activities that might boost my results.

I’m just stuck on the hope that four more month of chemo infusions will make me strong enough to be on my own after the recovery period.

And when I was able to run my business it wasn’t uncommon for my company to bring in six figures.

It’s like being on the road to Oz and seeing the city, glimmering in the distance, knowing something awaits you there.

But having so much

traffic
and car wrecks
and other drama

in your way that you can’t even SEE the yellow brick road.

Here's last month's thread if you'd like more backstory.

Long story short, I avoided chemo infusions for two years with oral chemo meds.

But I couldn't afford to keep it in my body. Fell short of fundrasing goals after trying so many other options.

I now have no other options. And only one other treatment if this fails, if I can afford it, because it's not covered.

THIS HAS TO WORK.

And to think I have to thank for bringing back the cancer I beat in 2016.

That. can bring back or cause cancer is in scholarly journals now.

But when I shared that the hospital oncologists said that is what happened, I was called every name.

I really wish I didn’t have to ask for more help. But these bills are piling up.

I got them reduced as much as I can. I can’t just go to a different facility without starting over.

People suggest RIP Medical debt- but been there done that, went viral.

These are bills I HAVE TO pay.

These two are just examples. From one facility. I still owe for labs, other doctors, last months infusions ($30k bill but the hospital covered 80% eventually.)

The theory is interesting but it assumes that unexplained rules of physics

1- would be the same at the “reality” level
2- the missing/inoperable rules aren’t solved by something we can’t yet perceive, or are correct to begin with

Also how do we know that the “higher” reality isn’t just the natural path that follows living in an incubator reality

Pro tip for people having trouble understanding how they/them pronouns work:

You already know how they work. You use them all the time, “Someone left their bag here. I hope they find it. I’m sure they’re worried. Let’s look for them”.

You can use the exact same grammar rules you already have internalized for this situation. You’re not new to using they/them pronouns, even in the singular, you’re just new to using them for someone when you know what they look like
