It’s clearly a move for Huffman to cash out before bailing out. I wonder if things would have gone any differently with the last CEO? I forget her name.
Also buying into the stock early, seems stupid. For a company that’s never been profitable, during a time of mass tech layoffs, and how the valuation of other social media has tanked after an IPO, just seems like you’re gonna lose money investing in Reddit.
Makes sense. The gigantic AAA games are so expensive to produce that they need all this ridiculous monetization for the returns to be worthwhile. That kind of spending (at least the kind that big publishers tend to dump on these games) lends itself to all the lucrative bullshit, like games as a service, and all sorts of paid content. The games may not be “highly acclaimed” but they seem to be making enough money that publishers keep chasing it.
I dont really thing a good game requires such big teams and huge budgets. But these publishers aren’t satisfied with simply making highly acclaimed games, or being profitable, they need millions in returns.
I think I finally reached my breaking point with reddit (about time). Earlier this month the humorless admins of /r/teslamotors banned me for posting a video of my custom charge port cover. A day or so later I mistakenly posted on the sub using my secondary account. That’s on me. The /r/teslamotors admins gave me a permaban...
I got banned from pcmasterrace for mentioning the old precursor to hydrohomies. Seeing as how it contained the “n word”, I took precaution to censor myself and use asterisks, “water******”. I was banned just for insinuating the name of the subreddit. Nevermind the subreddit was good-natured, open and friendly to all (except soda drinkers). And of course the mod that banned me was was telling me bullshit in my appeal like “quit trying to be cute”. What an asshole.
That’s because on food, you’re supposed to wash hands, put on gloves, work with food. Change gloves when dirty. When switching to another kind of food task, wash hands, new gloves. There’s a lot of rules for glove use in food.
I’m American and even i can agree Robertson are the goat.
Phillips and flat suck. Not enough surface area on Phillips, resulting in stripped screws. And getting centered on flat sucks.
Robertson drive, just pop your driver in and it’s self centering, lots of surface contact to drive, and lots of meat on the head to prevent stripping. Anything more than 4 edges is unnecessary.
