@bendaubney no, you’re exactly right, it’s not something I’d recommend buying the device for, for sure. If you’re a note taker, or comic reader, then sure. For me I only see colour when I first see the cover of a book.

I just got a text from FedEx about an item that’s just been shipped to me from California. I can only assume it’s my Rabbit R1 coming way earlier than expected. The things been pretty much panned, but it still looks like some fun tech and I love the design regardless.

@Ronnie yes, exactly! Even as an item to put on the shelf, have a play with occasionally and to have a cool Teenage Engineering product it feels worth it. Defo a price point you can splash a little on without feeling wasteful I think.

@merecivilian yeah I got an old second hand Surface Pro. It’s obviously slower than the iPad Pro I have, and the screen isn’t as good, but for £200 it’s been amazing. It’s a joy to use and just doesn’t have those frustrating limitations and loop jumping you need to do on iOS.

@barrysampson the ‘stable’ windows release can’t even play YouTube videos without the window flickering or going blank entirely. They are in the hole a fair bit to the VC bros which leaves the chance of them being a positive browser for users at almost 0 I’d assume. Yucky.
