assembly,

What kind of dick smack attacks the internet archive!!!

assembly,

These billionaires don’t tend to think past their main interests which are measured in quarters. A fascist US would hold the value of currency probably long enough to not calculate into their concerns. The dollar will most likely take years to fall off a cliff so they’ve got 12-24 months and they don’t care about anything further out. Their long term assumption is that they will be part of the fascist gov and keep doing well.

assembly,

It’s frustrating because instead of consequences, all they see are benefits. They got or are getting their paydays so it really worked out for the villains.

assembly,

Considering this is Kentucky I would have expected a scale model steam engine that burns coal to boil water to spin a turbine to generate the electricity for the museum. This way they could “roll coal” daily and piss off the surrounding tri-state area.

assembly,

Holy shit, Texas is like one of those Sovereign Citizens crazies but at a state level.

assembly,

Hot damn Russia is just making up random shit at this point that has zero continuity in the storyline. At least before they just lied but now it’s moved into some weird super alternate reality.

assembly,

Probably going to be what happened to Toys R Us where the company currently has value but private equity will pull out cash and anything not bolted down and load up what remains with extreme amounts of debt before abandoning what remains. The skeleton of a company that remains will be viewed as unviable as it will have large amounts of debt and no cash once the vultures have stripped everything off.

assembly,

If something is sold as fully self driving, I would like to think it should be capable of fully self driving and not a feature that will drive me face first into a train.

assembly,

There has to be a better and more useful way to achieve those benefits than cursive writing. Maybe we expand art classes as opposed to this? Maybe cursive writing is just taught as more like calligraphy in an art class? I don’t see a value or learning cursive in like English class. I’m old though so had to learn it and in the over 40 years of knowing cursive the only time I use it or read it is my signature.

assembly,

Wow a few days of suspension for assaulting a citizen? It’s almost like he got away with it minus any real consequences.

assembly,

Good thing he doesn’t lead a low lying coastal state that would be heavily impacted by climate change and rising sea levels or this would be super awkward.

assembly,

This is such an obvious solution that I’m surprised there isn’t wider discussion on laws pushing this.

assembly,

Hey I really appreciate this info. I’ve been thinking of giving Tidal a shot anyways and with features like this Plex Pass sounds like it’s worth it.

assembly,

Is that like a music recommendation engine? Do you need to run Plex locally for it? I use JellyFin so don’t have Plex here but always looking for a better music engine.

Who are the swing voters in America? | The Economist (www.economist.com)

The two percentage points of vote share that Mr Trump has gained since 2020 come from three sources. The largest group is people who supported Mr Biden last time, but are now undecided, backing minor candidates or not planning to vote, who outnumber those making the same shift from Mr Trump’s camp. These voters account for 0.9...

assembly,

This is just depressing. When Trump was elected in 2016, I assumed it was a weird time and people didn’t really know him and just thought of him as a reality TV person. The voters have had 8 solid years of his fuckups and dumb shit and it’s still close. I don’t know what more these people need to see. Maybe folk don’t like Bidens particular stance on a topic but compare each one to Trumps which is demonstrably worse.

assembly,

So you’re saying that criminals are likely to support fellow criminals? This should be a sociological study. They are upset that a wealthy criminal may face repercussions which doesn’t fit in their world view. To them, only non-wealthy criminals should ever face justice.

assembly,

Not a doctor but I’ve always felt he looks like he has something called barrel chest. It’s typically associated with emphysema but there are other causes as well. I wonder if he has always been shaped like this or if it’s something that started for him later in life.

assembly,

Alternatively, if she cracks cold fusion. Have to give her some options to make it more realistic. Solve two-of-three problems type of thing.

assembly,

If I didn’t have such a bad history of experiences with GM vehicles I would be seriously looking at this. Hope new buyers will give it a shot.

Jeep is launching a $25,000 EV in the US ‘very soon’ to revamp the rugged SUV brand

assembly,

How many miles did it have and if you don’t mind me asking, what did it cost to fix? Did you just get the head gasket replaced or did you have to get the heads machined or a reman engine?

assembly,

The Wranglers have been mostly reliable but everything else has had issues. The newer pentastar engines seem to be doing pretty well. Not sure on the latest 4 cylinder engines or the Fiat models but the wrangler has been going pretty strong.

assembly,

Looking at the pics available it looks pretty cool. I would definitely take a look at it to go electric but my current wrangler is going to be hard to give up.

assembly,

I thought that was limited to the Pacificas and everything else before they put it into the Wrangler. My understanding was that it was resolved by the time they finally started putting them in wranglers. I hated the older 3.8L engines and was super happy to get the 3.6. I still have low mileage so can’t comment on longevity but I think they may have resolved that.

assembly,

That’s a hell of a sales pitch. Help elect a Republican and that Republican MAY not ban the people practicing your religion.

assembly,

I view this as an unlocked achievement .
