I currently use Swiftly Switch. It is an app that adds a small bar to the side of the device and by swiping that part, I am shown a list of apps of my choosing. This allows me to open apps much faster....
I just tested it and, sadly, it is not quite what I want… Its UI/UX is not quite there yet… Maybe I will do some feature requests in their repo… But as it is it doesn’t replace Swiftly Switch.
May I ask what you are using on MIUI? I am also on MIUI!
You are scrolling your subscribed feed. You are subscribed to politics. Maybe try subscribing to other communities, and/or unsubscribe to politics and/or choose a different feed, for example All.
I disagree with this take. The effects of climate change are not binary.
There is no doubt that we are feeling the effects of man-influenced climate change. However, that does not mean that we should just give up. There is a difference between +1.5c and +2.0c. It is a fight worth fighting for.
The reason why you don’t pay attention to the topic of climate change is because you do not give 2 shits and/or are not willing to change your ways and make any sacrifice.

I think the apps are fine. Check out boost for lemmy… All the apps really need right now is an On Boarding screen. Something like: “Choose instance X or Y or Z and let’s go”.
Are there any websites or posts where one can see planned features for the app? It would be nice to know what’s missing from the initial release. I see plenty of feature requests, but none contains confirmation of whether that feature will be worked on or not.
Ya, this would be nice… Were it open source, we could just check opened issues though managing issues would take a significant amount of time, time that would be taken out of actually developing the app.
