I do… I can’t quite put my finger on why though. Non-english anime are unwatchable for me. I do not like to have to read the subtitles, as I sometimes dose-out.
But even English animes are rare for me. The only one I enjoy is one punch man. I have tried many others but they just don’t click with me…
Lemmy is so much more performant than reddit… It is crazy! Try going to reddit’s deskop site and then go to a Lemmy site…
Also, reddit is now blocking VPN users, unless you are logged in…
And finally, if I use reddit, I am contributing to a rich guy buying his nth car/house/yacht… On Lemmy, I am not enriching the wallets of the already rich.
hey bros, i’ve been a lurker on lemmy ever since the silly reddit API thing happened, and i think this is my first post?? anyway, there’s this guy on my high school’s robotics team that i really like. i should mention that this is a private christian school in oklahoma which is why i’m making this post in the first...

I am honestly very disappointed by documentaries in general. Rarely do I find them informative enough or not biased. They are generally made for the masses who know 0 (or even less than that?) about a subject.
If your goal is education, I suggest a book or a course. Now, for motivation and just “time wasters”, they are fine.
The one documentary I watched and enjoyed was alphaGo. It was nice feeling the stress of the match and seeing how they handled it, the setups and whatnot.
Edit: I was downvoted for this. I should mention that I am Not anti trans. There are no buts about it. My must shared video is probably the one by Robert Sapolsky, where he talks about trans people. I was just asking for curiosity.
This seems amazing. Let me make sure I understand. I can have a free version of Spotify, add music to some playlist, and then have spotiflyer download the playlist in good quality (320kbps)?
Does it download differential? That is, if I add a new song to a playlist, can it download only that new song?
Edit: When going to the details of the downloaded files, all of them are bitrate “128 kb/s”, even though I selected 320 in spotiflyer…
If one needs a spotify login (and I suppose premium account?) to download in 320kbps, then there really is no reason to not use spotify directly, I suppose.
I am looking for the best way to ditch spotify completely. I need songs in 320kbps though. Maybe torrenting is the way, though it is hard to find songs.
Tell me about your projects?

Pipepipe is an amazing newpipe fork(which is a youtube client) that constantly recieves updates and is stable and relaible.I didn't see much love for this app anywhere so thought i should promote it.
I definetly recommend it. It also has many more settings , features than newpipe . It is in the main repo . Just search pipepipe .
