People have been creating and posting realistic looking fake celebrity nudes for quite literally decades now, but now they’re using AI and its suddenly a problem?
I did this for ages fighting with various logitech and microsoft mice, always ended up getting cramps in my mouse hand. Eventually landed on the corsair nightsword a few years ago, very comfortable for a full palm grip, highly recommend. Maybe have a look there.
You could turn invisibility on and off as you like and there would be no time limit. Your clothes would turn invisible too, and you could decide whether the items you are holding would be visible or not....
I got the first one for free on Epic. Enjoyed it enough that I bought the DLC for it, and was pleasantly surprised that my friends didn’t need the DLC in order to play it with me, it was great!
And then about a year later I returned to the game with a different set of friends, and was no longer able to access the DLC until my friends also bought it.
It was a huge let down and I’m still pretty disappointed they changed that. I’m very skeptical this will stay this way.
I’ve had a Day 1 edition Xbox One that I’ve used nearly every day since release. Admittedly, not great for games, but it’s been an absolute powerhouse of a media center for me. Twitch, youtube, plex, any streaming service, and a blu ray. If for some reason I can’t stream something to it, I can plug in my chromecast or laptop, and with passthrough, it’s literally all I’ve needed in my living room for the past 10 years.
For the first time yesterday I very honestly considered boxing it up and getting rid of it after booting it up and getting this forced full screen ad before getting to my homepage. Fuck this shit.
This update will feature Nvidia DLSS support with frame generation, display and HDR controls for supported systems, and other optimizations and improvements. You’ll be able to opt-in to try it via the Steam Beta options. We’d love your feedback before it goes live for all PC and Xbox players after that....
Immediately from the headline my first reaction was “well, the rate of actual collisions is near 0”, so either they’re very good at dodging each other, or what they deem as a “near collision” is actually quite a wide berth.
But then, this is the journalistic integrity we’ve come to expect from gizmodo.
OPs account is just chalk full of pro Putin/Russian propagana, and this comment jumped up to 10 upvotes 0 downvotes immediately after being posted. Surely not a coincidence at all, right?
E: Oh look, a whole pile of downvotes immediately after calling out OP for pushing Russian propaganda. Wow! What a shocker.
Hwang confirmed to Ars today that “there was no financial compensation” offered to him. The company offered “to switch the @x account and its history/followers etc to a new handle once I select one that is available,” Hwang told us. “They also offered some merch and to meet with the management team as well.”
I remember reading ages ago about how highly sought after and how much single-character twitter handles would potentially sell for, since there’s only 26 in the entire world. Now all this person got was a t-shirt.
Is this how most people type on mobile these days, drawing lines all over a keyboard instead of tapping the individual keys? I've never had an iPhone so I don't even know if they can do this natively, but I know you can switch keyboards at least, so it should still be an option if not.
Next time it autocorrects duck or ducking, try a long press on the word and you should get an option to no longer guess that word. Depending on the keyboard you’re using you can typically long press on fuck or fucking and add it to the dictionary as well.

Suppose you had a Star Trek replicator that had some extra obvious features, like being able to interpolate between any existing items (e.g. "halfway between a strawberry and a blueberry").
What mashups of food or drink would you try first?
Do you use the swipe to type feature on your phone?
