I remeber speaking to a Korean lad in the pub ,he was part of a team arriving to set up the factory ,he was adamant that there would be 3 units employing between 9-12 thousand people on site 😮Now the site is the new Carnegie campus replacing the college on the Halbeath Road along with Woodmill High and St Columba's High .

Our lovely Braan was born on this day 13 years ago. We lost her to lymphoma in 2022 and still miss her deeply.

Just out after watching this ,it was as good as I remember ,political with a small p without being preachy and overbearing .The most powerful scene imo ,was the jury changing over,to 1940s Americans ,that fair knocked the wind out of Raymond Massey 😂,its a lovely romantic fantasy,great viewing on a wet Sunday afternoon

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) contains a scene which utilises the original staircase. At the beginning of the sequence when Bill and Ted are addressing God, there are two statues at the base of the staircase. One is of Michael Powell, and the other is of David Niven, an homage to A Matter of Life and Death.👍😄

We have kept our key meter to avoid this type of situation ,we top up the meter when its running low ,so we pay for any electrcity we use ,so how can we possibly owe money?

Be aware, if you a travelling on the A9, that there are major gas works at Dunkeld. I was delayed by 90 minutes to-day. The traffic tailback was 6 miles. The gas works are to be on-site for 18 weeks.
