Getting a letter from EPCOR about a planned 34 hour power interruption is so Alberta power I can’t even.

Most expensive electricity costs in the country yet… they need 34 hours to ‘Maintain and upgrade infrastructure’.

I usually hate winter time… but…

I absolutely loved it in Edmonton this year! Having the sun out nearly every day, even with short days was wonderful.

I have always enjoyed colder weather over warmer weather and my health conditions are better outside of the heat too…

Me, 10 years ago.

I was still living just outside of San Francisco. I was working in business… doing the Bay Area business things of 2014.

What do I notice the most? Energy. Hope. Youth. Less pain. Less mental struggle.

Do I miss it? Yes.
Would I lose the wisdom and the people I’ve gained since in a trade? Never.

Perspective is everything. 💜☀️

I hope April ushers in great things for all of you as we turn yet another chapter together on this spinning globe. 🌎

My Logi Pro Wireless mouse has been stuttering lately (on mouse press) and I cannot quite figure out how to fix it. Ugh.

Friendly warning for other #FFXIV players who have housing and are maintaining their sub during a hiatus:

I got an email today regarding auto demolition (of which I’m very familiar, I’m a long time player). However, it was set for 31 days after my last login (per Steam).

This is significantly less than the 45 days I’m used to planning for. I login the first week of every month. I guess I’ll switch to a 3 week login schedule.

Just want to share in case it could help someone else!

I’ve been swooping up used books from folks lately and I cannot believe how cheap they are… (Canadian $)

$1-$3 used non-fiction hardcovers that retail for $20-$30 … $4-$5 for books that retail for $30-$40. It’s been so cool.

I stopped collecting books for my personal library many years ago when I went digital but… there is just something about holding a book that’s so comforting… yay!

Visited a local bookstore + coffee shop and there was a group at a table, talking… loudly.

One of the people says, “Name is like so autistic, it was obvious.” in a derogatory tone.

Friends. I turned into lava. Rage swelled within me.

We’re trying to check out, I said out loud… “Are we really going to say that out loud?”

Thats all I could muster. I’m still mad.
