It's fitting that on a day when I was on campus I spotted a wild beaver, and while I was enjoying the wildlife I also enjoyed listening to some talks for my #AcademicRunPlaylist! (1/10)

I had a great conversation with Mike Walsh in Tokyo that captured many of my thoughts on generative AI, here's the link to his podcast with the recording! https://www.linkedin.com/posts/michaelwalsh_ai-generativeai-llms-activity-7194074942844379136-Nkxv?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android

I hate the term "data analytics." By definition, analytics have to be about data. Otherwise what are you analyzing? Vibes?

I think people 100 years from now will still call social media posts tweets but no one will know why. Sort of like the shift key

A personal best by a decent margin for me today, clearing 46.8 mi/75 km at a good pace! Starting in Shibuya I worked my way past Yokohama and ended close to Odawara, finishing on the Pacific coast with a beach all to myself! And my longest run ever of course meant lots of talks for my !

I'm Jewish. Criticism of Israel is not antisemitism, and it's become a huge problem that those things have become conflated. Most criticism I read of Israel is not antisemitic, and in my opinion much of it is justified.

With that as preface, I want to say that I do think the statements this student made are antisemitic. USC's decision feels slightly bad because tons of anti-Muslim speakers are given free reign, while this student has her speech cancelled. https://www.npr.org/2024/04/16/1244990599/usc-valedictorian-speech-canceled
