I really don’t understand where they are going with Mozilla’s new leadership.
Don’t they already show ads in pinned sites area. Since I am not a regular donor I click on the affiliate amazon link if I am purchasing something to support them. Now I feel like they are taking wrong signal due to this. More advertising enabled by default will make even harder to recommend firefox to new users.
Hi thank your for the update. I want to report an issue which I believe is related to launch modes or navigation stack. Many times I noticed the the app have same screen with multiple instances in backstack so I need to press back button 2 or 3 times to actually go back to front-page.
If you’ve newish hardware then fedora workstation is a good option. It was my daily driver for almost a year. Another one is Zorin OS based on Ubuntu. Zorin ships most of the driver out of the box and I recommend it if you’re shifting from Windows.
I do cap speeds in my transmission server since I mostly use it for large size torrents and forget to pause until I open the web interface again. Once I ended up seeding 30x.
As per the website there are around 900 active users servers on lemmyI recently joined the fediverse both lemmy and mastodon and tbh lemmy is more active. Mastodon is just an echo chamber only bots are reposting from reddit and twitter.
Firefox plan to show ads and shopping in the near future in the browser as an opt-out (bugzilla.mozilla.org)
First focusing on AI and now this, already cancelled my donations, do we have a good fork to move to?
