Did you know that the #C operator ‘=‘ has two meanings? It’s true!

One is assignment but the other is the ‘it is now operator’. Here’s how it works. Example code (disclaimer: typed on iPhone):

if (answer = 42) ;

Is answer 42? It is now! And contrary to what some might think it actually can be useful! Sometimes I use it.

@xexyl Always used this for school assignments where I needed to read files byte-by-byte and checking for EOF in a while loop. Haven’t used it since because of readability/stylistic preferences.

I’m looking for YouTube recommendations! I’ve been watching MattKC for a little while now, I’m wondering if there are any other channels anyone would recommend around .

You can skip RetroRecipes or Adrians Digital Basement, or things like that (already subbed), I’m more interested in the sort of late 90s-mid 2005s software or hardware reverse engineering right now.

I've just realized that #C seems to use virtual function calls much more than . Which is a bit interesting given Rust has virtual functions and C doesn't.

Very simple, I’m thinking a small perf board circuit that uses a closed-loop control system to try and automatically regulate the volume of a buzzer in response to the output volume.

One of the biggest obstacles to fixing this country is Senate Dems’ desire to be bipartisan with the fascist party.

John Fetterman is the most likely candidate to lead Dem Senators out of this.

@protecttruth You still haven’t given me any reason why you think they are fascist other than they are funded by rich people and trying to change our system. Both parties are heavily funded by very wealthy lobbyists. So if rich people are a problem, it falls into that category. On top of that, the Democratic Party has made numerous changes and attempts at changes to our system. Both parties have. And I’m not saying that’s always a bad thing, a lot about our system needs to change
