Dear @firefox : Please stop saving images as webp when I drag them out of the browser. Forever stop that. Even if they are webp originally, just give me a setting to auto-convert them to JPEG. When I get a webp file the first thing I have to do is convert it manually if I'm going to do anything with it.
You can use btrfs with any distro. It’s just easier to install on some than others. Ubuntu and Mint will automatically create subvolumes for root and home if you install on a btrfs partition. With Debian, you have to manually create and mount all of the subvolumes before starting the installation.
I've been buying these little boxes from AliExpress for years to use as firewalls and routers. My oldest one is almost 9 years old now! OpenBSD installs just fine. Just a BIOS tweak to always boot up after power is restored.
Things like changing, moving, or deleting text and images, inserting or reordering pages, and editing the table of contents.
There’s not many open source programs capable of doing that. Pdftk and LibreOffice Draw are probably the best options right now.
Because I can attend/Linux Google Meet with Bluetooth Headphone over a 2.4Ghz WiFi, on Linux I can't. It cuts down internet speed by 95% or even compleltly
I've been using Linux approx 2 yrs for Web Development. I really like it. The OS is superb. I can't ever go back to Windows for development. After a lot of googling, searching, trying I came to the conclusion that both Wifi & Bluetooth use 2.4 Ghz. That's the problem
Windows is better for reliability because the same Bluetooth headphone works fine over the same 2.4 Ghz wifi on the same laptop with Windows dual boot.
I even tried multiple distros: Ubuntu 22.04, PoP Os, Fedora, OPen Suse TW
Laptop: Acer Extensa 15
Headphone: Realme Buds Wireless 3
