i dont even know how this happens on english subtitles under an english video but we run into it time and time again

ive run into videos where there are proper subtitles, but they're just completely inaccurate

like they were for a previous draft of the script, but sometimes they break down entirely and just stop making sense altogether, its confusing, the automatic subs are usually better oddly enough

also, still need to send google hatemail for not making youtubes subtitles use an existing open format like srp so you can use third party subtitling tools

@endali going by the itch.io page, god damn it the sexual violence they mention probably got it flagged as adults only (which is somehow different from usk18) which means steam isnt allowed to “advertise” selling the game…. by giving it a store page at all, i loathe german laws

@wakame @endali nay steam doesnt even bother anymore, its an actual german legal thing, explicitly adults only content such as porn is only allowed to be “sold under the counter” which is obviously not really possible on an online storefront unless you widen the definition (which the government refuses to)

its also only applied to steam so i can still get it on itch.io, so eh
