@cosycodes@infosec.town

AppSec is the snacksec. Dark and cheerful. Lover of red lips & hot knits. Into video games. Always learning something new. Love cats, fiber arts and cold weather.
Pronouns are she/her and they/them.

Currently learning: C# and Python

Avatar description: A cartoon character with her hands up in the air looking exasperated. She's wearing golden arm length gloves, a black top cut to reveal her breasts, black shoulder length hair and a crown on her head.

Banner description: Psychedelic, spiralling images of brown, cream, orange and yellow cats on a grey background which are slowly decreasing in size the closer you get to the center of the image. The photo was taken from a sewing fabric I had.

cosycodes, to random

I feel like this is going to be controversial, but one of the things I enjoy about Bluesky is the almost daily quote-post games. Take someone's post of themselves and the prompt, re-post with your own take on the prompt - enjoy everyone sharing a bit of themselves and having fun.

Guess you could do the same thing here with a specific hashtag, but I feel like seeing a cpl of examples right there, in your feed, makes me want to jump in more.

cosycodes,

Side note - do I just follow the wrong groups of people. Does the same type of thing exist here with specific hashtags? (eg. games where you get a fun prompt and share a photo related to it?)

cosycodes,

@pootriarch @Hey_Beth thanks for the recommendation!

I took an after work nap today.. and while amazing, I think it was a mistake as who knows when I'll get to sleep. :ablobcatenjoy:

It's bedtime and yet I've got coding on my mind. This is how it starts isn't it? :blobcat_thisisfine:

Intro time!

Hello, I'm Megan. :blobcat:

I have a lot of random thoughts, and will likely post them here.

Last year I took the leap into AppSec from a more general Infosec background. This year, I'm looking at security engineering and programming more generally.
