"The backup includes secrets, private keys, passwords, and over 30,000 internal Microsoft Teams messages."

"however, in this case, the link was configured to share the entire storage account — including another 38TB of private files."

They used the wrong tool for their purpose
"Due to the lack of security and governance over Account SAS tokens, they should be considered as sensitive as the account key itself. Therefore, it is highly recommended to avoid using Account SAS for external sharing."
"For external sharing, consider using a Service SAS with a Stored Access Policy. This feature connects the SAS token to a server-side policy, providing the ability to manage policies and revoke them in a centralized manner."

@tseitr Did your boot partition too small ? I did the upgrade one or two week ago on a friends laptops and one a personnal vm and it ran smoothly...

dervishe,
@dervishe@mastodon.sdf.org avatar

@tseitr o_O I never used ventoy. in that case, i use system-rescue.org to boot, then i mount the partition and then chroot in it to continue the update. Before chrooting, i can resize the troubled partitions if i met some

dervishe,
@dervishe@mastodon.sdf.org avatar

@tseitr C'est déjà ça de pris 😂
