this decisive roman statement is pretty central to who i am

i first saw it inscribed over the courtyard in my elementary school + this will be what a coroner will read off my skin while my body lays dead someday

Sometimes they're physical—a stomach ache. Sometimes they're mental—I'm listening to someone speak and something they say troubles me. I don't even know why—all I know is I'm troubled..
