Declaring Apple Music bankruptcy; it has made me so unhappy with what's left of the music library I spent 25 years curating that there's just no way to fix it anymore. I've lost my algorithm-seeding play counts, hearts and stars many times over by now. cmd-A, delete 🫡

Also now I need to consider whether it'd be fun/useful to be able to add collaborators to threads. Or maybe just have a button to submit a recommendation? Though the latter could quickly lead to spam (check out my mixtape!!!)

if i want to run big sur on an apple silicon mac (for debugging, testing my mac app), what's the best way to do this?

i would prefer virtualising (vs installing on a partition, if that's even possible?) but seems vmware fusion doesn't support this setup and the virtualization framework doesn't support big sur.

are there other options?

has anyone set something like this up?

do i have to switch to an intel mac to test?

@stroughtonsmith Yeah I’ve rebooted and same issue. Same thing happens when building with the UI.

I’ve now trashed the dmg (which has worked fine for months) and downloading again.

Only happened after I updated to 14.1 🙃

also, for your consideration: publishing a mastodon HIG. I think it'd be useful to cement some interface/interaction decisions that should appear across all party apps. (particularly considerations around handling CW, accessibility, alt text, reporting, nudges like above, etc.)

There's been a lot of good albums this year, but I don’t feel like I've found THE one great album yet. Normally by this stage of the year there's a couple of contenders.

Maybe the new Squirrel Flower LP ‘Tomorrow's Fire’ (which comes out tomorrow) will be it?
