A question about gender and language for my Spanish-speaking plans. In this age of gender non-conformity, has “le” been adopted as a direct object pronoun if gender is not specified?

Also, is there Spanish-language equivalent for “Ms.” if a woman’s marital status is unknown?

I find how languages evolve with the times to be fascinating

eshome,

@danwentzel hi there, I am always a student, but I think "Señora" is
a good greeting for mail or in person.
Feliz Navidad

Rasta, to NovaScotia

Customary on weekends, I take a little time to write a short story, about our adventures.

As a background, in case you are new, here's who we are: 2 seniors, my wife is disabled (I'm crippling up too), defying difficult trails to show that it can be done.

Hashtag shown is relative to places in #NovaScotia, that others might never have seen, but will want to visit.

    in 1947, when there were shortages of soap, Mrs W. Cockman 😆 of Ontario (Soap Capitol now 😆) sent in this photo of Mrs Sam Rohr who made 65 lbs of soap, 4 times a year

    Double, double toil and trouble;
    Fire burn and caldron bubble.
    Fillet of a fenny snake,
    In the caldron boil and bake;

    Or was that soap?

    eshome,

    @Rasta we had "Kernseife" a long time........
    Curd soap dissolved in a water bath helps with nail bed inflammation. With a curd soap foot bath you can help remove severe calluses. Curd soap prevents leg cramps and reduces swelling in swollen legs or feet. The useful soap is even used against warts.

    eshome,

    Today, 11 Nov, we remember those who served, those who fought, and those who died in service, for their country.

    I come from a long line of military members, I'll stand in the cold, at the local cenotaph in the village, beginning after 10:30 am.
    It might snow, it looks like it?

    @Rasta great time spend for all of you, we did this around 1958, we had a flat roof, in the middle of the city, in summer we often slept there, very exiting for us children to watch the "firmament" that's what my mum said.
