Give me the opening line of a story, and add, "and then the dragons arrived."

Standard: Christmas won’t be Christmas without any presents. And then the dragons arrived.

Writers: Use the beginning of your work in progress.

Healthcare organizations are motivated to improve their relationships with customers, members, and patients. And then the dragons arrived.

A random mention in an essay about the short story that inspired the movie "A New Leaf" led me to this essay about the author Jack Ritchie. Years ago, Bill and I discovered we'd read the same short story collection when we were teenagers, including "For All the Rude People." Alas, not even Amazon has a used copy. I'm sure I'd love to read it again.

HIVE MIND: Imagine you’re the manager hiring someone for a technical job. What non-obvious questions help you judge the candidate’s skill/suitability? What makes those questions useful?

That is, assume you’ve done the standard complement of job interview questions such as background and tool familiarity. I’m looking for stuff specific to some part of cybersecurity. It’s okay to get specific to your part of the field.
