Threads is the most fun, most interesting new product of the year, and no one in the E.U. can use it, or will be able to use it anytime soon, because their own elected officials passed a law that effectively bans it.

Using Windows 11 for the first time in ages and... Wow...

Interface looks so clean and modern - except when you a few steps deeper in the settings and it is pure XP.

Animations are so smooth and gorgeous - except for fairly critical ones which look like a zoetrope.

Battery efficiency is outstanding - expect for the times when it randomly turns on the fans full blast for no reason.

It is clear that Microsoft don't actually enjoy producing a desktop environment.

#SiriusXM may be closing the popular #Stitcher app, but the app should be congratulated for using open standards that make it easy to move your #OPML subscriptions to another #podcast app.

So when head #MuppetShow writer #JerryJuhl asked #GlendaJackson what she wanted to do, she didn’t demand any certain characters be her scene partner or pitch any ideas. This blew me away! She could do anything at all that she wanted to do. But what she did say surprised me, in a delightful way. She simply said, “You people know what you’re up to. I’ll do anything you write for me.”
