i visited this in person, they even sell mini versions of the statue with the cone on the head. kind of weird that the government still considers it “vandalism” at this point
The Lemmy devs in general are not exactly known for being great people. Luckily the project is open source, and if they want to fuck around and find out then they can.
If this ever gets to the point where I can use this by paying cash for access (and not having to deal with cryptocurrency) I would totally give it a try.
Where there’s no “agenda” or biased mods/admins. I’d love a good community where if there’s issues, it’s handled fairly and with respect to both sides of the argument....

I randomly felt like trying all I could find and for now I’ll stay on Jerboa and the Web UI but I use Voyager too now, mainly for DMs...
why do people use boost? heard it has ads in it. not to mention it collects and shares data. it baffles me why anyone would use it over something like voyager. (also its a proprietary app for a FOSS project)
the fact you pay for something that is utilizing FOSS software is crazy. its not like they are even hosting their own instance. they’re just profiting off of open source devs.
