For my purposes it's fine being built in. I only speak for myself of course, but it's much more useful to me as a single app.

I would like to be able to customize some colors, however. Like how the "29" is so obvious in your image, but this screen shot that I've attached is how it looks on mine. It would be quite nice to have the ability to customize the background color of the current date whilst keeping the rest dark.👍

Just my personal preferences, of course.

lol yes! I had high hopes for the engines of these ships, particularly the larger ones.

At least they knock you down, but this? This would be chef's kiss.

I enjoy taking out targets in unconventional ways. Point your 315's huge engines at them. Or bring a larger ship down and let the heat & force of the thrusters do your work. :blobcatgiggle:

You know, birds are apparently being patched in with the next patch. They already have their elevation data and such... I wonder if they'll do damage to the ship.

Doubt they'll get sucked in though.

These engines would absolutely do some deatomizing.

If they're physical then we'll most likely splat them without any damage to the ship. You can ram people on the ground to take them out, I do this on my smaller ships.

It'll /probably/ be the same with the birbs? It's actually difficult to say. :blobcatthinking2:

Oh I forgot about those whales. With any luck it'll depend on the size of the ship but ramming is... problematic. It'll probably take out both unless they change damage from ramming.

I look for them to be hunted ("whale hunting" will be a streamer trend for sure) and people trying to catch them inside of their crago holds... alive at times as well, I'm sure. :blobcatlaugh:

What'll happen if we catch this in the back of our herc?? Let's try!

Also I kind of want to jump onto one.

Oh I expect that jumping onto a space whale will not end well. I'll be wearing the basic respawn suit for sure :bloblaugh: Gotta do it once.

Rewatched that scene. I still love the F14, what a beautiful jet.

I think you do that in a star citizen ship and you'd turn to paste inside :blobcatlaugh:

@Plus_Ultra Oh there's been a lot. Sweet sweet UI changes, physical shopping, what the animals look like, the new clouds (not lighting), new mobiglass, a certain new ground vehicle that could actually be useful, new title screen, etc etc.

Oh and partial implementation of star cloth, whatever that means.

and Potentially holding the helmet in our hands / at the hip.

I don't share it here because they're huge spoilers.

What I'm not seeing yet, however, is the new star map, and that concerns me.

Oh the new clouds are nice. They have performance problems at the highest setting but even /not/ at the highest they're looking much better.

I'm kind of thinking that about the star map as well. Hoping that's not the case but I already posted saying that I expect it in a point release. Either .1 or .2 probably.

Hopefully we're wrong. Let us burn the current star map in an offering to the UI team 🙏 🔥 lol

I have a 50/50 chance, it's either the 400i or the 890J. They're both definitely boats.

Some could argue the 600i is as well but it doesn't look like one so much as the other two.

Even if we can furnish it I'm definitely using sheets and pillows to build a fort :blobcatlaugh:

We likely will be able to. They had the guy sitting on the couch in the clip and I expect there to eventually be more furniture.

I exchanged the paint. As I described it previously, it reminds me of a tomato, and I /have/ described it as "tomato juice".

So, first, the base paint. The default white is beautiful and frankly the 400i doesn't /need/ a new paint job.

I had such a rant about this on stream tonight.

Long story short, an Alexander raid with a Faust had two wipes because we had new players who didn't know the mechanics.

So 4 of the players immediately left rather than have any conversation with the new players. Two of us stayed, two were new.

So many say that they want content to be harder. Well this is what happens when it's harder.

"I want it harder but never want to deal with wipes!" Well it ain't harder then is it, fake ass fools.

If you have a Pixel phone you could move to GrapheneOS. It has official support of Pixel 8 Pro down to Pixe 5a (barbet), with End of Life support down to Pixel 4 (flame).

I haven't looked too deeply into this as I plan to eventually move to Graphene whenever I bother to get a new phone.
