I had the idea of using the video clips to show how the game performs in a solo player casual experience. The clips are completely random although stitched together to make some sort of logical sense. If anyone is interested regarding this hardware then I can definitely record better samples.

Decided to do this completely at random. Why not do something with the odd clips I had saved.

Experimenting with SCU containers on the 400i, and I am tempted to try an 8 SCU to see if it'll fit along the side of the cargo bin.

Here you see a 4 SCU standing on its side, a 2 SCU that I've learned fits nicely into 400i's cooled area, and a 1 SCU box at the side.

This expands storage considerably.

I could buy cargo, move the boxes to the side like this, then buy more. Were I so inclined. :blobcatthinking2:

It of course ended with the delivery mission being bugged. I'm fairly convinced that they'll never get those to work correctly.

I did bump into an interesting... situation? bug?.. during today's play. While at outposts (eg; Shubin) I was able to drag entire loot boxes into the local inventory. This includes both the white as well as the red & black boxes.

Should this be possible?

So I now have several such boxes at port, and a red & black box to use in my cargo area.

In this vid I'm looking at the ships as I approach to deliver the mail and don't notice the box on the ground to my left.

I only noticed it in 3rd person before lifting off, but a tractor beam couldn't move it. So I moved my ship over, dropped the cargo bay, lifted the wheels, and reversed onto it to scoop it up.

This worked, but it was only halfway onto the ramp. Here I'm testing the tractor beam & found that it works, so I move onto the grid.

Session certainly seems to be the superior chat app in terms of privacy. It's also an app that I'll never convince anyone to use. Won't happen.

Signal is still the most likely app that others will pick up, and it's certainly far from bad.

Unfortunately, like I mentioned in the past, Signal dropped SMS support so all but one person dropped the app like a lead weight and never looked back.

Effectively no one is going to use multiple apps "for the same thing".

    All I know is that, as a non-combat pilot, I don't like the direction that this is going at all, but I'm guessing that it's a SQ42 thing so we're probably screwed.

    edit: Yeah, frankly his suggestions make more sense to me than MM. The problem is I think we're stuck with this come hell or high water because it's a SQ42 thing, and I get the feeling it's already set in stone.

    Thankfully I rarely used Tumblr for anything other than enjoying others' FFXIV gposes and artwork. And even then, I still rarely loaded the site.

    Did reddit prevent users from deleting posts or something? I'm not sure how they locked it down. I technically have an account there but I've never posted using it.

    Hello fellow healers.

    I ran through Stone Vigil for the first time today. Let me tell you, it sucks raw eggs through a straw.

    No equivalent of Cure 2. No addersgall abilities. No AoE.

    Thank goodness I warned the tank ahead of time that I'd be rough on this particular job, and they were quite patient.

    What the heck are you supposed to do in there as Sage? Lvl 41 dungeon.

    Either the compression has caused issues with some of the shadows, or that's an artifact of Auto HDR. Not sure, HDR does not play well with screen shots and I forgot use the XBox Game Bar to capture these images.

    Good grief! My 400i became decoupled out of no where on approach to microTech and I had to land it that way on keyboard & mouse. That's a first for me :bloblaugh: :blobsweat:

    Pretty much most of these.

    But also, I get a lot more interaction on Mastodon, and it's genuine, not from bots spamming my posts. Despite its number, posting to Twitter is talking to a void, with most of my posts there going entirely unresponded to despite the use of tags and asking specific questions.

    And in general, the atmosphere / vibe is better on Masto.
