I’ve been hosting movie nights every Saturday and they have been fun. Some of the group decided that doing TV nights would be fun too so we are giving it a go....
Recently I have been seeing “vegan butter” in the store. How this is not margarine eludes me. But my vegan friend assures me it’s completely different.
That split system is how it works where I live. Obviously it’s quite difficult to have competition for the infrastructure. So I can choose who delivers power (well, I mean it comes from the same grid. But different companies buying power from the same spot market charge you different amounts 🤷) but the infrastructure is a monopoly. Not only do we pay a fixed fee for the infrastructure, but also a transfer fee (and taxes, and also taxes on the taxes)
So in the end I pay more for the infrastructure part than the power consumption.
Response is important (probably most important really) but in your post you said your earlier comment was “would be very on-brand for Tesla to have issues with the seatbelts.”
My point was, that everyone has these kinds of issues. Honda recalled 450k vehicles for seatbelt issues. Volvo had another one with mistorqued bolts that might result in the middle seatbelt in the back to come off completely. (Not known if it actually happened)
Not sure how many other brands I have heard of where the steering wheel falls off though 😁
With 100% oxygen you will be fine down to 4 psi or so. Mixed gas would need substantially higher pressure and that would likely make those suits too stiff to move.
You’re right, the Apollo 1 was significantly higher pressure. Didn’t know that. 😲 Makes somewhat more sense they could keep a pure oxygen atmosphere even after the accident.
Also, calculating partial pressures in psi is really annoying.
As much as I love the idea of the @framework laptop, and as much as I want one, I just can't seem to justify it over my current Lenovo T480. Other than a faster/newer processor, I'm not sure that I'd truly get any benefit at this point in time. :sadness:
